The 2020 Ford Explorer will come as a new model even if it doesn’t look like it. Ford will keep a lot of its design features. It will also get several upgrades like LED lights, bumper, radiator grille and more.
The vehicle will arrive on the architecture of the rear drive CDR with a longitudinally mounted engine. The power supply is a 2.3-liter turbo four engine. Other options include a 3.3 liter V6, a 3.3 liter V6 hybrid, and a 3.0 liter V6 EcoBoost. The engines will come paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
We need to see the Ford Explorer at the LA Auto Show this year before it makes its way to the dealers early next year.
